Live Nation puts on a Chicago country festival every summer, called Lake Shake, at Chicago’s Northerly Island. Live Nation wanted a look for the festival that reflects Chicago’s fun summer vibe, so an identity system was created that paid homage to the city flag, which was carried through the rest of the brand. A bold sans wordmark and a mono-linear illustration of the Windy City was designed to create an identity system to suite usage in signage, merchandise, and digital campaigns,
